Commercial Food Mixers Key Advantages

Commercial food mixers have come of age. Great technological advancements have ensured that these modern commercial food mixers have multi tasking abilities. They are generally used in bakeries but the application premises may vary depending on the requirement of an establishment. Now, before discussing the important advantages of a commercial food mixer, we must understand its working mechanism. Usually there is a large metal vessel that holds a minimum five gallons of dry or wet ingredients. This is necessary for commercial operations to be able to produce the number of food items that they need to. There usually is a motor that most of the times is housed on the top of the machine. The top of the machine usually has an arm so that the mixer can be pulled down into the vessel. Now, here is a list of some important benefits and application areas of a commercial food mixer.

Bakeries: Bakeries and other food preparation businesses could not function without a commercial food mixer. It is the first step in the food preparation process. The importance of a mixer in bakeries can be understood from the fact that most preparation processes for all the products are generally the same except for some minor alterations. In a nut shell, a commercial food mixer is an indispensable requirement for any bakery just like commercial fridge freezers.

Factories: Food manufactures are often found hunting for the right food mixers. The very fact that they have to produce large number of food items in terms of both variety and quantity, makes it even more important for them to get the right commercial food mixer. The important benefit that any factory should look out for is a proper upkeep and hassle free operation of this commercial food mixer. Most factories have more than one commercial mixer. They may have up to ten or more depending on the scale of their manufacturing operation.

Home: People who live in large joint families or prepare food for small community groups often prefer to buy commercial food mixers and commercial refrigerators. Commercial food mixers make short work of large domestic jobs, drastically reducing preparation times of large volumes of food for domestic consumption.

I hope these insights nputs help you understand the importance of commercial food mixers.

The Food And Drink Of James Bond

Among the big differences between the 007 books and the films are that while 007 is hardly seen to eat in the movies – he is well known for downing booze though – Ian Fleming’s novels often include exquisitely described meals that are a highlight of Ian Fleming’s prose.

Even so, Bond isn’t an out and out snob, and even though he does enjoy good food served in fancy restaurants, his favourite meal undoubtedly is scrambled eggs on toast with bacon. This he is able to eat morning, noon and night and Fleming went as far as featuring a recipe for scrambled eggs within his short story, 007 in New York.

Bond also finds fine dining sometimes rather pretentious and Fleming claims that whenever in England he exists on a diet of grilled sole, oeufs cocotte and cold roast beef with potato salad; Bond himself claims to prefer the ordinary plain food of the country when abroad.

Bond’s favourite meal during the day is breakfast, which we realize because Ian Fleming told us. It was also Fleming’s own favourite meal time – his view that people yearned for uncomplicated, childish foods and breakfast provided exactly that.

While Bond sometimes does order scrambled eggs in the morning in the novels, his routine while in London is rather simpler; he drinks two cups of coffee from De Bry in New Oxford Street (sadly it doesn’t exist any more) brewed with a glass Chemex coffee maker while reading the Times.

He is then served an egg that has been boiled for exactly three and a third minutes by May, his elderly Scottish maid, that is served in a dark blue egg cup ornamented with a golden band round the top. The egg comes from French Marans hens and is supplied by an acquaintance of May. After the egg, he eats toast and butter served along with Tiptree’s Little Scarlet strawberry jam, Norwegian Heather Honey from Fortnum and Mason and Cooper’s Vintage Oxford marmalade – all is served on blue Minton china.

Nonetheless, when in foreign lands his breakfast can vary. In New York he calls room service to order orange juice, three lightly scrambled eggs with bacon, toast and marmalade and a double espresso with cream, which hardly differs from his home breakfast. But when on assignment in Istanbul he orders a much distinct breakfast; yoghurt and green figs with Turkish coffee.

Where we do see evidence of 007 enjoying the “plain food of the country” when he lunches on ham sandwiches with plenty of mustard (in an English pub) or bread and sausage (when tailing Goldfinger through France), he also eats exceptionally well.

Certainly one of the most unforgettable descriptions of a meal happens when he dines with M at his private members club, Blades. Following vodka coming from Riga, Bond requests Champagne to go with his asparagus and hollandaise sauce, lamb cutlets with buttered peas and new potatoes, plus a slice of pineapple for dessert. This episode features in Moonraker, published shortly after rationing had ended in the uk and while it may not appear to be especially spectacular to contemporary readers, the books provided wish fulfilment for the audience of the day.

Food Adulteration

Food Adulteration is the major problem related to food faced by all the countries all over the world. Not only the developing countries like India, all the developed countries are facing the problem of Food Adulteration. As a result of this the people who consume the adulterated food are badly affected and sometimes even may resulting to food poisoning. Sometimes the results of consumption of adulterated food are immediate. In other cases the affect may be delayed and the delayed affect may be more dangerous even which may lead to cancer. The best example of this delayed effect is consumption of metal contaminated food. Metals enter into the food through air, water, soil or by industrial pollution and contaminate the food. Metallic components of arsenic oxides, Barium carbonates may accidentally make their way into the foods. Packaging material, containers, metal machinery that is used during food processing and distribution are the other sources of contamination. Metals are naturally present in foods and even mere changes in the dietary uptake it leads to toxic effects. Some of the metals like lead, tin cadmium, mercury, arsenic, zinc, copper, aluminum, cobalt and chromium when consumed in large quantities are toxic. Studies conducted by scientists at Industrial Toxicology Research centre, Lucknow found that silver foil used for sweets and in pan masala contain nickel, lead, chromium, and cadmium. These metals when accumulated slowly in the body become carcinogenic and may result in cancer. Silver foil with a purity of 99% can be used in edible form. A survey conducted by the Indian Council of Medical research (ICMR) also found high levels of pesticide residues in bovine milk and metals like arsenic, cadmium and lead in infant canned products and turmeric. Nickel, a trace metal that could cause cancer is present in Indian chocolates, water, and hydrogenated vegetable oil and even in milk. These types of Adulterants which are incidentally which enters the food products are called as Incidental Adulterants or Unintentional Adulterants.
The Incidental adulterants pass sequentially through the food chian in the following way: Contamination begins when farmers use pesticides to protect crops. The Health department sprays pesticides to control malaria-causing mosquitoes. Residues remain long after spraying .Cattle, fodder and chicken feed are affected, and ground water, meat, fish, milk and egg get toxic. More spraying done to prevent fungus and rodents from attacking stored grain. Further increases the residue levels in foodstuffs. Sellers dip vegetables in pesticides to make them look fresh as well as to preserve them. Oils and sweets are adulterated with prohibited substances. Even after cooking toxic residues are not destroyed and when ingested pesticides are absorbed by small intestine. Fatty tissues present in the body store these pesticides which can lead to the damage of heart, Brain, kidney and liver. Strict control on various sources of contamination, established control of quality control by authorities, strict follow up with the accepted standards and food labeling will avoid the excessive contamination of food with metals. These standards and rules include Prevention of Food Adulteration Act 1954(PFA 1954), PFA Rules 1955, Standard weights and measures Act 1976, AGMARK, Bureau of Indian Standards (ISI) , Food Safety and Standard Act 2006( FSSA 2006 ).
The incidental poisoning can be prevented by doing the following things:
–>Regular market surveys to warn people dangerous build-up of toxins in food.
–>Stepping up the integrated pest-management programme to teach farmers to use pesticides judiciously. No spraying should be done a week, before harvest.
–>Taking up on a war footing the control of pests using their natural predators.
–>Using safer pesticides like synthetic pyrethroids or Malathion.
–>By washing vegetables thoroughly before cooking.

How To Get A Film Star Complexion Fast…. With The Raw Food Diet

How to get a Film Star Complexion and be the envy of your friends with RFD ?

Many of the benefits Ive discovered over many years on the Raw Food diet, is that my skin tone has improved dramatically.

Althought Im male and in my sixties, Ive noticed how my skin has softened, the frown lines are less intense, as are the laughter lines around the eyes. So much so that people often remark that I look at least 10 years younger than my years!

Thats a great ego – boost, but Im more interested in the benefits of eating a mainly Raw Food diet. I run regularly around the hills where I live, and often leave much younger men behind . That’s just to say it really works.

Now, skin is nourished from the inside, and its re-hydrated from the organic water we obtain [which is incidentally the only pure water on the planet] from natures own fruits and vegetables.

Its true to say that a clean exterior comes from a clean interior, so you need to undertake first of all, a detox. That is, if you really want to have a pure and glowing film-star complexion.

But dont panic. It will not be hard I promise . In fact, you will positively enjoy it.

Now, let me outline the simple procedure which will, if you, follow it precisely , help you to get that blotchy, dull-looking skin you may be suffering with currently, transformed into a bright, clear, glowing countenance.

First ,for Breakfast ,take a large fresh orange, a good firm lime[greener the better] peel and put through a juicer extactor together with a generous sized slice of lemon. Drink and enjoy. That’s the first thing you do in the morning.
Nothing else at all.

Then, for lunch; a small salad of lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, grated carrot and a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil.

Then for the evening meal, a large mixed salad , more or less whatever you choose. However, absolutely no dairy product , such as cheese or yoghurt or anything of that ilk.

Now please note, everything must be fresh, natural, uncooked. Drink plenty of water.

Do this programme for at least 3 days, and extend to a week if possible.

If you are like most folks who have undertaken this diet, you will report not only a marked difference in your skin tone, but also your energy levels too.

And thats not all; You will find there are numerous extra benefits you`ll enjoy apart from the initial detox.

For example, weight loss (often a pound per day) thicker healthier hair, healthier teeth and gums and better quality of sleep. Hows that for starters? Go raw,you won’t regret it!

Stemless Wine Glasses are the perfect choice!

Much has been written about the pros and cons of Stemless Wine Glasses, and whether the phenomenon will just turn out to be a passing fad. Well unless you move through life with your eyes closed, the truth of the matter is quite evident on our TVs, in our shops and at our restaurants. The market for Stemless Wine Glasses and Stemless Champagne Flutes is nothing short of BOOMING.

Who would have thought that chopping the stems off a wine glass would result in one of the innovations of the century! Ok this might be pushing it a little, but what wonderful money and wine-savers these glasses have become. Homes, restaurants, bars and other businesses all over the world are finally starting to see the light; Stemless Wine Glasses save wine-lovers and purveyors alot of money

Stemmed glasses have been traditionally so par-for-the-course that people didnt even think twice when stocking their glassware cabinets it was more about which brand and shape of glass they would buy and there was no consideration for anything else. With Stemless Glasses carving out a solid and unique path in the wine landscape, more and more people are switching off that auto-pilot button and looking at this sparkling trend with a little more conscientiousness than before.

Were not saying that you should do away with traditional stemmed glasses altogether, because there are a few advantages that they still maintain over the stemless variety. Stemless Glasses should, although, definitely be considered as a complement to your existing glassware collection.

You just cant take stemmed glasses everywhere. They are not appropriate for picnics, festivals, the beach, camping and many other large indoor or outdoor events. They will inevitably be knocked over and result in your wine and glass scattered pointlessly across the ground.

Stemless Wine Glasses are more stable, more mobile, more transportable and so much more compact than their stemmed cousins. They are designed in just as many shapes and sizes as traditional glasses, and also manufactured by all of the trusted brands. Surely Riedel and Libbey, who are the two most successful manufacturers of housewares in the world, didnt make a poor business decision by expanding their lines by offering a multitude of Stemless Wine Glasses.

Ultimately, it comes down to the individual to decide whether stemless glasses have a place in their world, but all the pros of these great vessels are surely enough to make up your mind. The Stemless Wine Glass is here to stay.
